My pal, Clyde Lewis, host of Ground Zero Radio, is in need of some financial help due to yet more medical problems. Here is a link to a site soliciting donations on Clyde's behalf and a disclaimer states that Clyde himself has nothing to do with setting it up. Just something a friend and a fan decided to do. This blog post is my way of doing what little that I can.
I first met Clyde when I appeared on his show to plug my new documentary, "John Lennon - A Conspiracy Of Silence". Although I don't agree with Clyde's theories about Lennon's assassination and some other theories he has, I found the experience fun and enjoyable. When the Occupy movement hit Portland, Oregon, I did a film about it that featured Clyde, along with his sometime cohort, Eric Sloane. It's my understand that he does not receive any pay for his national radio program. Also, he did not set up the donation site.
To give for Clyde is nothing compared to what he does everyday to help us understand and inform us on the real current events that affects all of our lives, of everyone on this globe. So if you can see beyond your shadow you would help a fellow in need. What goes around comes around, this is the universal karma. Thank you Clyde for all of your work. Get well soon!
It's ironic that Lewis smears Obamacare as some kind of evil conspiracy, but now he needs GoFundMe charity for his medical bills. Rod, Does Lewis have no medical insurance, and what do you mean he doesn't get paid for his show? Rod, maybe you should tell Clyde to get a clue about the ACA.
I don't know how much more plain "It is my understanding he does not receive any pay for his national radio program" can be. I'm just trying to help out someone and I guess I shouldn't be surprised the amount of negativity that has decided to swoop in and nest on it's ugly eggs. Clue: I haven't posted all those types of comments. Geesh, have a fucking heart.
